Mine illustrationer er ikke bare blomster, der pryder tekstens forhave. De formidler budskaber på splitsekunder og inviterer beskueren ind i en visuel have, hvor spørgsmål bliver sået — men hvor svarene må spire i beskueren selv.

EN: My illustrations are not merely flowers adorning the garden path of a text. They convey messages in split seconds and invite the viewer into a visual garden, where questions are sown — but where the answers must take root within the viewer themselves.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Jeg tegner, fordi verden er absurd – og nogen skal jo påpege det. 
Et sted mellem satire og alvor forskyder proportionerne i mine illustrationer sig til skæve eksistenser. En vibrerende palette fanger øjet ind i et rum, hvor hverdagens paradokser undersøges og udstilles. Mine spidse blyanter og tørre pensler kradser i revnerne af de strukturer, der former os med upolerede, ekspressive og vilde streger. 
Jeg er stærkt optaget af feminisme og arbejder for at både bøger, aviser, magasiner og plakater befolkes af farverige fællesskaber med repræsentation, diversitet og mangfoldighed – hvor alle både har en plads og en stemme.
EN: I draw because the world is weird – and someone needs to point it out.
Through distorted proportions, a vibrant palette and a good dose of humor, I explore the absurdities of everyday life and the structures that shape it, by poking at the cracks in social norms, power structures, and polite conversation.
My work lives somewhere between satire and sincerity, where the personal becomes political – and vice versa. 
From editorial illustrations to posters and book work, my style aims to disrupt, amuse, make people look twice and perhaps ask questions, even if there are no answers.
I don’t believe in objective neutrality – everything is framed by someone. I just make the frame visible with lines that are deliberately imperfect, because perfection is boring and rarely true.
